School’s Back… Which Means Fall Sports Are Back Too!
Well, somehow summer is basically over. I’m not entirely sure how that happened, because I feel like school JUST ended, but here we are. Backpacks are packed, school supplies have been purchased (and will inevitably disappear within the first month), alarms are being set way too early again, and we are officially heading back into our regularly scheduled chaos. And in our house, back to school also means one very important thing: FALL SPORTS ARE BACK. If you have kids in sports, you know that “fall sports” does not simply mean dropping your child off at practice a couple of times a week. LOL. If only. It means practices. Games.…

Heading Back to Disney!
We are FINALLY heading back to Disney this month! We’ve had to cancel the last 2 years due to Covid, so we are so flipping excited to finally be able to go! It will definitely be a whole new experience now with Genie, Genie+, and Lightning Lane, so stay tuned for my future post on all of that, but in the meantime, I am planning on what will go in our park bag. Last time our boys were still in the toddler stage, so we had pull ups, wipes, extra clothes, and all the fun stuff that comes with having little boys. But other than the baby/toddler essentials and a…

Trader Joe’s Gluten Free Pizza Dough FTW
When we moved to the ‘burbs, I was so excited that there was a Trader Joe’s near us. We had one near our first apartment, but the parking lot was atrocious so we didn’t go nearly as often we’d like, even though we LOVED it. When we moved into our second apartment, there was no TJ near us, so naturally we missed it. Having moved into our forever home and being near one, I figured I would be there every week! If you would believe it, 5 years passed and I still hadn’t stepped foot into the TJ 🤦🏻♀️ FINALLY, a couple of weeks ago we went and ended up…

Oh sh–
My oldest was about 1 year old, standing in his play pen, when we he dropped a toy and uttered his first string of words, "Oh shiiiiiiiiit."

Well, it’s been a YEAR
I was going to make a post about how this last year has sucked because of COVID, but let's be honest. It sucked for everyone, more so for others.

Driving to the Most Magical Place on Earth
I will be honest. The drive from New York to Disney World is a looooong one. BUT! It was not bad at all considering we were with a toddler and preschooler. Even my hubs, who drove the whole way, said that while it was boring for him, it was not terrible. Before the trip, we kept reminding our littles that we are going to Disney, but that we will be in the car for a couple of days to get there. Luckily, they are used to long drives, as we generally take about a 6 hour drive upstate every summer, but obviously this one was going to be a lot…

The Most Magical Place on Earth
IT IS TIME FOR MY DISNEY WORLD POST! Last year, we were lucky enough to take our boys to Disney for the first time! Everyone was pretty excited about it, but I think I was most excited lol. I have always loved Disney, but it’s safe to say that since going last year, I am OBSESSED. We drove from NY to FL for the trip, as I have difficulty flying due to medical reasons. And while many people would be like WHAT it really wasn’t that bad. My hubby drove the whole way (bless his heart) and the kids (2 & 4) were really good! But let’s be honest, it’s…

Easter Brunch
I love Easter. In addition to appreciating the religious part of it, I feel it’s just a great start to the spring. We’ve had a longer (and snowier) winter than usual, so I always look forward to Easter to bring forth spring! Since my hubby is Catholic and I’m Eastern Orthodox, we celebrate Easter twice. ((The boys are lucky and get visited by the Easter Bunny twice)) Generally for Catholic Easter we celebrate with my family at my sister’s house and then follow with my husband’s family. But Orthodox Easter (or Greekster as some have called it haha) is at my home! My mom used to host it, but once…

April Showers
One of these days I’ll get my act together and start posting on a more consistent basis… Maybe… Lol It’s April, and boy are the rains coming down! Though, I am happy it’s not snowing anymore. I LOVE snow, but this winter really tested my patience! We had 4 Nor’Easters in March. FOUR! And routinely got over a foot of snow. Commuting from one end of Long Island to the other and into Manhattan is not easy, so a lot of vacation days were used, which sucked. But let’s be real. I wasn’t about to risk falling on ice, or getting hit by a swerving car, or getting stuck on…

One Year Later…
Hello friends. It’s been almost a whole year since my last post; I hope you can forgive me! Things have been very hectic these last 12 months. I got pregnant with my second child (another boy!), began house hunting, found the perfect house, went through the horribly annoying closing process, packed, moved, had the baby, recovered from my second c-section (ughhh so painful), unpacked, and am now back at work after my 12 weeks of maternity leave. Needless to say, this past year has been an exhausting whirlwind, and with a toddler and infant, the exhaustion continues! Over the next few days I hope to start posting more; hopefully time…
