An Engagement Shoot by the Bay

So much excitement! My little sister-in-law got engaged a few months ago to a very awesome guy, and we are all so very happy for them!

Since they are getting married in the fall, we decided to take their engagement photos in the fall as well, and since they got engaged in November, we had to rush to make sure we didn’t get naked trees LOL. They wanted to take their photos in beautiful Northport Harbor, and I think the photos came out gorgeous! But, I could be biased since I took them.

I used my Canon EOS Rebel T5 (get the T6 here), and the YONGNUO YN50mm F1.8 Standard Prime Lens. I was so impressed with this lens. I was expecting to have to switch it out because it was cheap, but I used it the whole time, and really loved the results. I mean, the reviews on Amazon, and the pictures, speak for themselves. It was definitely worth the $50! While I definitely plan on getting a higher end lens in the future, for a “oh snap, I need a portrait lens quick!” scenario, this was FANTASTIC.

The photos were then edited in Adobe LightRoom.

WHY ARE THEY SO CUTE?!

hehe
